College of Business Administration Recognizes Two Faculty for Excellence

Al Oddo, professor of accounting, and Dr. Ann Rensel, assistant professor of management, were the 2009-2010 recipients of the College of Business Administration’s Excellence in Teaching and Research awards.

Oddo, who received the Excellence in Teaching award, has been a faculty member at Niagara since 1972. He is a member of the New York State Society of CPAs, the Institute of Management Accountants, and the American Accounting Association. His current research interests include innovative education methods, business ethics and international accounting issues.

Rensel received the Excellence in Research award. She joined the College of Business faculty in 2006 and is a member of the Association for Information Systems and Information Resources Association. Her current research interests include technology adoption in underserved and economically disadvantaged populations and in very small businesses.
