The fourth edition of The Ridge Report contains more information than ever, packing five topics into a tight 3 minutes, 17 seconds.
Vince Schiano, an NU sophomore from Gates, NY, hosts the latest installment of the student-produced newscast, which covers the April 1 performances by Cali Swag District and Jay Sean; Media Awareness Week at NU; the progress of a potential American Sign Language minor; a mid-season report on the women’s lacrosse team; and NU’s wildly-popular Open Mic Night.
Billed as “providing campus news by students and for students,” The Ridge Report, which launched its first episode on Jan. 5, 2011, endeavors to cover Niagara University topics and happenings that are of interest to students, including previews and reviews of concerts, theatre performances and sporting events as well as service learning and fundraising opportunities.
