Niagara Cuts the Ribbon on the Elizabeth Ann Clune Center for Theatre

On Saturday, May 1, Niagara University cut the ribbon to officially open the new Elizabeth Ann Clune Center for Theatre and the renovated William P. and Marie Leary Theatre.

The ceremonies began with an official blessing ceremony celebrated by the Rev. Joseph L. Levesque, C.M., the president of Niagara. After the blessing, the purple ribbon was cut by Father Levesque, Gregory Fletcher, the director of NU Theatre, and Elizabeth Ann Clune. View pictures from the event here.

Following the ceremony, a sold-out audience was treated to “Anything Goes,” the 1930s Cole Porter Broadway classic. The show was directed by Brother Augustine Towey, C.M., director emeritus of Niagara University Theatre.
