June 1, 2017  |  by Michael Freedman

Niagara University’s College of Education is offering a new summer camp designed specifically for young children entering kindergarten in September.

The free, academically based Kindercamp will include developmentally appropriate learning experiences and activities that build upon and strengthen skills necessary for kindergarten.

Four half-day sessions will be held daily from July 10-13 and July 17-20, one in the morning (9 a.m.-12 p.m.) and another in the afternoon (1-4 p.m.). Parents may register their child(ren) to attend either the morning or afternoon session for one week at no cost. Children will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

A parent information session and family celebration will be held on the final day of camp.

Kindercamp is made possible through funding from The Peter and Elizabeth C. Tower Foundation.
