Niagara University Repertory Theater Announces Summer Schedule

July 5, 2011  |  Theatre

Niagara University’s Repertory Theatre performs “Pierre” (I Don’t Care) by Maurice Sendak.

A grand tradition of family-friendly entertainment is being revived!

The Niagara University Repertory Theatre (N.U.R.T.) troupe will present a rotating repertoire of free children’s stories, outdoors in the Village of Lewiston at the Academy Park bandshell from July 18 through Aug. 26. The troupe hasn’t performed on a regular basis in Lewiston since it was last seen at Artpark in the 1990s.

Also, since last summer, the repertory troupe has been performing indoors on the Niagara University campus. This summer, the shows will be presented at NU every Tuesday and Thursday from July 19 through Aug. 25. The production will presented in the air-conditioned comfort of the Leary Theatre within the Elizabeth Ann Clune Center for Theatre in Clet Hall.

This summer’s N.U.R.T. schedule is as follows:

1:30 and 3 p.m.

Leary Theatre (NU campus)
