Junior Brianna Lanoye takes a turn hosting The Ridge Report, Niagara University’s student-produced newscast.
The Dec. 21, 2011, installment includes synopses on a candlelight vigil held in memory of Brandon Johnson; the annual Winter Wonderland Student Ball; the Campus Programming Board’s efforts to keep students relaxed during Finals Week; a pop/soda tab collection in support of a good cause; and late night ice skating in Dwyer Arena.
A new episode of The Ridge Report airs bi-weekly on Niagara University’s website.
The Ridge Report, which launched its first episode on Jan. 5, 2011, endeavors to cover Niagara University topics and happenings that are of interest to students, including previews and reviews of concerts, theatre performances and sporting events as well as service learning and fundraising opportunities.
