Sport Management Students Hosting ‘Play Day’ for Area Children

Niagara University students are inviting children in grades 3-6 to take part in a day full of fun and games this Saturday, Oct. 13, at the Kiernan Recreation Center. Events and activities will include kickball, soccer, street hockey, arts and crafts, and much more.

Activities will be held outdoors so participants are asked to dress appropriately. The event was created by students in SPM 395, part of NU’s sport management program.

Registration will begin at 9 a.m., and the games will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Registration forms are available at local elementary schools.

There will also be activities offered for pre-school children.
