Bonnie Kane, Ph.D.’14, will receive Leadership Niagara’s Distinguished Alumni Award at the organization’s 29th annual awards luncheon May 17, 2019. She is a school psychologist in the Niagara Falls City School District and serves as co-department chair for special education. Outside of her professional endeavors, she is president of the Buffalo-Niagara chapter of Phi Delta Kappa, an international educational organization and co-coordinator of her church’s religious education programming.

Leadership Niagara, now in its 35th year, is the longest-running community leadership program in New York state and provides practical and in-depth graduate-level leadership development, coaching and mentoring, and discussions on regional issues and industries. The organization’s mission is to strengthen regional leadership.
