Members of the Niagara University community gathered on the stairs of the university's Castellani Art Museum on Friday, Oct. 23, 2020, for a candlelight vigil to honor the black lives lost in America and to raise awareness of current social issues.
The #SayTheirNames candlelight vigil was hosted by the university’s Office of Multicultural Affairs and in alignment with the work of the university’s Identifying and Dismantling Racial Injustice Task Force, which was established by the Rev. James J. Maher, C.M., NU president, to advance systemic change.
