Four members of the Niagara University community are among the “40 Under 40” up-and-coming leaders who are being honored by Buffalo Business First for their professional success and service to their communities.

Alumni Charles Abramo, ’09, vice president, human resources business partner function, at Delaware North; Darren Robbins, ’10, MBA’11, vice president of finance and treasurer at Tops Markets and a mentor with Niagara University’s Food Industry Center of Excellence; and Matthew Werth, ’09, general manager at The Buffalo Club, were among the young professionals recognized. In addition, Craig Pridgen, a member of NU’s Board of Trustees, senior pastor at True Bethel Baptist Church in Niagara Falls, and senior governmental and community adviser at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, was also part of the 2023 class.

Buffalo Business First has been hosting the annual 40 Under 40 Awards since 1992. This year's winners were chosen from 250 nominations.
