Karis Wynings, Jacqueline Pennington, Anna Perry, and Kristyn Clare presented their research at RIT’s Annual Student Research in Communication conference on April 3, 2025.

Four students from Niagara University’s communication and media studies program presented their original research projects as part of Rochester Institute of Technology’s Annual Student Research in Communication conference on April 3. The regional conference hosts graduate and undergraduate students from across New York state and beyond.

Senior Kristyn Clare presented her honors thesis research, "GenAI: New Frontier of American Capitalism and Democracy" during a panel presentation. She is conducting this research under the guidance of Dr. Douglas Tewksbury.

Seniors Jacqueline Pennington and Karis Wynings, and junior Anna Perry presented their poster, "Examining Fan Identity Formation Pertaining to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour." They performed their work under the guidance of Dr. Carrie Teresa, associate professor and chair of the department.
