
Adam March, a local businessman in the finance and tech sectors and owner of Blue Collar U, 2022 champions of The Basketball Tournament, will present the Peggy and John Day University Honors Lecture on Tuesday, Nov. 7, at 6 p.m. in Glynn Hall Room 407. The event is free and open to the public.
March is founder of Valmar Holdings and serves as creative director, focusing on emerging investment opportunities. With 20 years in Fintech, March is a multifaceted operator who has built a team around him with a keen eye on efficiency, scale, and asset management strategy to take on the ever-changing future of the industry.
An avid basketball fan, March owns Blue Collar U, a men’s basketball team consisting primarily of Buffalo Bulls alumni. Since 2021, the team has participated in The Basketball Tournament, an annual 64-team, single-elimination event that awards $1 million to the winning team. In 2022, the team won the TBT championship. March also helps fund and assist operations for various youth-based basketball organizations in the Western New York area.
