The Food Marketing Center of Excellence Advisory Board is a collaboration between food industry leaders and Niagara University’s marketing department to create, build, and inspire transformative programs and partnerships. The board provides Niagara University business students with projects for real-world problem solving, internships that provide students with experience, as well as access to leaders in the industry.

Drew Cerza enjoys working with students who are looking to get started in the workplace. He mentors students to help them determine what professional career suits them best.
The Food Marketing Center of Excellence Advisory Board provides insight on the food industry’s great job opportunities, and can help provide internships that may turn into careers down the road. Cerza is passionate about the food industry and enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience with students, and helping them realize the vast number of careers—especially in the Western New York Region.
Bill Chiodo | President of Affinity Group Retail
Bill Chiodo is the Founder of the Food Marketing Center of Excellence Advisory Board, which was started in February 2015. He has also helped to lead the annual summit that provides students with the opportunity to meet with more than 200 food industry executives through a seminar that covers relevant topics in the food marketing industry.
In addition to his role on the advisory board, Chiodo presents frequently to Niagara University students and has served as a mentor to current students and graduates. He has been active in numerous other industry organizations and boards, and utilizes his experiences and knowledge of food marketing, as well as retail and manufacturing services, to help advise students as they progress through college and into their careers.
