Twelve Niagara University graduate students and one doctoral candidate received certificates for outstanding achievement in their field of study during an event held May 12 in the B. Thomas Golisano Center for Integrated Sciences.
“Many of you are going home or moving around the globe to start your careers and you are taking Niagara with you – in your heart as well as with the knowledge that you now have,” Dr. Chandra Foote, interim dean of NU’s College of Education, told the awardees. “You’re going to be able to carry on that Vincentian spirit of service to others, and we thank you in advance for doing that.”
The event was coordinated by the university’s Graduate Student Council.
