Niagara University held an outdoor Mass Sunday, July 17, in the quad between DePaul Hall and the Our Lady of Angels Library.
The Rev. James J. Maher, C.M., president of Niagara University, served as Mass celebrant.
In addition to NU students, alumni and employees, participants included approximately 80 secondary school students and educators who are attending a weeklong Lasallian Youth Assembly on Monteagle Ridge.
As part of the “Mass on the Grass,” Father Maher offered a special blessing to students who departed this morning for World Youth Day in Poland.
