
Niagara University’s Office of Academic Affairs is hosting a training that will examine the physical, emotional, psychological, and relational consequences of sexual harm on Friday, April 1, from 1-3 p.m. in the Russell Salvatore Dining Commons on the NU campus. Featured speaker Dr. Alexa Sardina, assistant professor in the Division of Criminal Justice at California State University, Sacramento, a rape survivor, will discuss the impact of trauma, the needs of survivors, restorative justice approaches to healing, and the healing process for survivors. Please note that this event may contain triggering and/or sensitive material. Sexual violence and sexual assault are some topics mentioned within this training event.
