The Saudi Student Association at Niagara University held an event, “The End of Semester (Graduation) Ceremony,” on May 4, 2016, in the Statler Dining Room of St. Vincent’s Hall.

At the ceremony, the SSANU honored over 15 graduating graduate and volunteer students who helped the club during the year. SSANU also recognized the members of the Niagara University staff, faculty, and administration who played a major role in the success of the club this year.

The ceremony was planned by SSANU’s team members and hosted by the Rev. James J. Maher, C.M., president of Niagara University. Father Maher shared an inspiring speech, which was full of wisdom and empowerment.

The mission of the SSANU is to help the Saudi students in transitioning to the U.S community and the university. The SSANU was established in the spring of 2015, and has conducted 33 activities thus far.
