Three Niagara University alumni were among the “40 Under 40” up-and-coming leaders who were honored by Buffalo Business First at a luncheon Nov. 18, 2021.

Drew Dunlap, a 2007 graduate who earned both a bachelor of arts degree in international studies and a bachelor of science degree in economics; Robert Ingrasci, who earned a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting in 2008; and James Jackson, who earned an MBA in HR and strategic management in 2020, were among the young professionals chosen to be recognized for their career success and community involvement.

Dunlap serves as executive vice president and chief financial officer for Cornerstone Community Federal Credit Union. He joined the organization in 2011 as a financial analyst. He also serves as treasurer for the Lockport Ice Arena and Sports Complex board and has volunteered at the Niagara History Center in Lockport for the last 20 years.

Ingrasci is a principal at Lumsden & McCormick LLP. He is active in a number of community organizations, including the board of associates of Mount St. Mary's Hospital of Lewiston and the hospital's foundation. He also is a co-leader of the Western New York Chapter of the Niagara University Alumni Association.

Jackson is senior manager, market human resources business partner at Sam's Club, supporting about 2,300 employees in the clubs throughout New York and Pennsylvania. He is also co-founder of Minority Wealth Collective, a mentor with Say Yes of Buffalo, and a volunteer with International Child Advancement.

This marks the 30th year of the awards, bringing the total number of honorees to 1,200. This year's winners were chosen from more than 150 nominations.
