Niagara University’s Annual Take Back the Night Focuses on Resilience

The strength of survivors of sexual assault was the focus of Niagara University’s annual “Take Back the Night” event on April 18, 2024. Hundreds of Niagara University students, faculty, and staff were joined by members of the community at the event, now in its seventh year, which aims to end gender-based violence in all forms, including domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking.

Niagara University Accounting Students To Participate in Case Competition

Students in Niagara University’s Holzschuh College of Business Administration's cost management systems course will present their case analyses to a panel of academic and seasoned business professionals during a case competition on April 23 from 1-4 p.m. in the atrium of Bisgrove Hall on the NU campus. The competition, which is sponsored by Lumsden McCormick CPA, is the first of its kind in the upstate New York region.

Niagara University Hosts 78th Annual Eastern Colleges Science Conference

Approximately 170 students and faculty from 16 universities, including 19 students from Niagara University’s departments of biology, chemistry, and psychology, participated in the 78th annual Eastern Colleges Science Conference on April 13 at Niagara University. This marks the fifth time Niagara has hosted the forum.
