Niagara University Levesque Institute Hosts Third Community Conversation

Niagara University’s Levesque Institute for Civic Engagement is hosting the WNY Service Learning Coalition Summit on Friday, Nov. 1, 2024, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Statler Room on the fourth floor of Glynn Hall. Community-based organizations, universities, colleges, and businesses dedicated to collaborative service-learning projects and initiatives are encouraged to attend this event, which will feature keynote speaker Danielle Battle from Aspen Institute's Weave: The Social Fabric Project and executive director of RICH (Restoring Inner City Hope, Inc.).

Niagara University Receives $150,000 Grant from Alden Trust to Create New Student Spaces

Niagara University students will have additional places to collaborate and engage with peers and faculty, thanks to a $150,000 grant from the George I. Alden Trust. The funding will support the renovation of several learning spaces in Glynn Hall, one of the four premier buildings in Niagara University’s heritage footprint.

Tommi Vincent Is Featured Speaker at Niagara University’s “Living in Light: The Art of Healing” Exhibit

Tommi A. Vincent, an award-winning author, entrepreneur, and leader in the movement to end domestic violence, will be the featured speaker during “Living in Light: The Art of Healing,” Niagara University’s annual exhibition of artwork created by survivors of domestic violence. The event takes place on Tuesday, Oct. 8, from 4-6:30 p.m. at the Castellani Art Museum on the university’s campus.
