Erica Rodman, educational program developer in Niagara University’s Institute on Disability Awareness, has been honored as one of eight recipients of the 2025 Women of Distinction Awards, presented by Assembly member Karen McMahon.
Rodman was selected for her outstanding work in disability advocacy and her dedication to promoting inclusion and accessibility. Through her leadership at the institute and on the Town of Amherst Committee on Disabilities, Rodman has helped create meaningful change for people across Western New York.
Each year, to coincide with Women’s History Month, Assemblymember McMahon recognizes women from the 146th Assembly District who are making their communities better places to live.
