This July, Niagara University’s Levesque Institute hosted several groups of students from Niagara Falls High School as they learned more about the opportunities and resources available to help them achieve their goals for the future.
From July 7-18, 11th and 12th graders in special education programs participated in a variety of structured lessons and activities to help them build a foundation to successfully navigate the transition from high school to adulthood.
The summer camp is the evolution of last year’s Inclusive NU program, now re-imagined as Bridges to Excellence, a two-year experience to connect students and their parents with community agencies and resources to help them gain independence after graduating from high school.
