Incoming College of Hospitality, Sport, and Tourism Management freshman Paige Blatchford has been selected as this year’s recipient of the prestigious Merani Scholarship, a four-year, $30,000 scholarship that includes three paid rotating internships with Merani Hotel Group.
The Maryvale High School graduate has already started her first internship experience at the Holiday Inn this summer.
Established in 2018, the Merani Scholarship is a collaboration between Niagara University and the Merani Hotel Group, designed to prepare the hospitality leaders of tomorrow through real-world experience at Merani’s hotels, restaurants, and food operations in the Niagara Falls region and Ontario.
