Niagara University Hosts Pre-Mock Assembly Session for Hispanic Youth Leadership Institute

Each year, juniors and seniors throughout New York state travel to Albany in March as members of the Angelo Del Toro Puerto Rican/Hispanic Youth Leadership Institute. The annual weekend event features a variety of activities, including participation in a mock session of the New York State Assembly.

Niagara University’s Women’s Studies Program Celebrates National Women’s History Month With Slate of Events

In celebration of National Women’s History Month, the Niagara University Women’s Studies Program is presenting a roster of events in March, including a keynote address by New York Timesbestselling author Lyz Lenz, who will explore the history of weaponizing fear against women and underrepresented populations in her talk, “Do Not Be Afraid.”

Niagara University Accounting Students Offering Free Help for 2024 Tax Returns

It’s tax season, and accounting students from Niagara University’s Holzschuh College of Business Administration and members of its Accounting Society and Beta Alpha Psi will again provide members of the Niagara Falls community free tax preparation assistance through the Internal Revenue Service’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.
