Dr. Ajitpaul Mangat, assistant professor of English at Niagara University, published the article “Pitchfork, Race, Collaboration, and the Making of ‘Indie Rap’” in the Journal of Popular Music Studies.

Niagara Undergraduate Students Present Research at American Chemical Society’s Fall Meeting

Ten Niagara University students presented their undergraduate research alongside graduate students, post-doctoral and professional chemists at the American Chemical Society’s fall 2024 meeting in Denver, Colo., Aug. 18-22. In addition to their poster presentations, the students were able to network with scientists from around the world who have similar research interests, talk to schools at the graduate school fair, participate in professional development seminars, and expand their scientific knowledge by attending presentations and talking to vendors at the expo.

Chemistry Students Present at 2024 WNY American Chemical Society Symposium

Four undergraduate students from NU's Department of Biochemistry, Chemistry, and Physics presented the results of their research work at the 2024 WNY ACS Undergraduate Research Symposium at The State University of New York at Buffalo on Saturday, April 13.

Alexandra Kiedrowski received an award for best poster in environmental biology for her research with Dr. William Edwards and Dr. Cassandra Marnocha at the annual Eastern Colleges Science Conference on April 13, 2024.

Niagara University Hosts 78th Annual Eastern Colleges Science Conference

Approximately 170 students and faculty from 16 universities, including 19 students from Niagara University’s departments of biology, chemistry, and psychology, participated in the 78th annual Eastern Colleges Science Conference on April 13 at Niagara University. This marks the fifth time Niagara has hosted the forum.
