New NU Faculty Learn More About Vincentian Mission

New faculty members learned more about how to infuse the university mission into their professional activities at a luncheon on March 26 in the Understudy. The event was organized by the university’s Mission Committee as a follow-up to the new faculty mission orientation that occurs in the fall.

The speaker for the event was Dr. David Taylor, professor of criminology and criminal justice, who shared his NU journey with those in attendance: Dr. Bingyang Fang, assistant professor of marketing; Dr. Kia Boyd-Taylor, assistant professor of education; Dr. Ashley Byczkowski, assistant professor of modern and classical languages; Christopher Hugar, faculty fellow in finance and economics; Dr. Martha Milagros Acosta Valle, associate professor of religious studies; Patrick O’Meara, associate professor of accounting; Rhonda Bivins-Talley, executive director of the Levesque Institute for Civic Engagement; and Dr. Theresa Puckett, associate professor of nursing. The Rev. Greg Semeniuk, vice president for mission integration, and Dr. Maritza Branker, associate professor of mathematics and faculty mission director, were also at the lunch.
