Niagara University Receives $8,000 Grant to Prepare Student Leaders to Foster Interfaith Understanding and Collaboration

Niagara University has received an $8,000 grant from Interfaith America to launch “Beyond Belief,” an initiative intended to prepare student leaders who can successfully facilitate collaboration across faith, belief, and identity lines. Through structured workshops, interfaith student-led panels, and community-based service projects, participants will develop a deep understanding of diverse spiritual and secular worldviews

Niagara University Students Create Videos and Social Action Plans for Local Community Agencies

For the second consecutive year, students in Dr. Rolanda Ward’s macro social work in organizations course and first-year students in Dr. Yonghong Tong’s Vincentian social justice course collaborated to create promotional videos and social action plans for local community organizations. They presented their work during a social media advocacy mini-conference  on Dec. 10.

Niagara University Honors Four During Annual Vincentian Heritage Convocation

Niagara University honored four individuals who exemplify the Vincentian charism on Thursday, Sept. 25, during the university’s annual Vincentian Heritage Convocation, the signature event of a weeklong celebration highlighting NU’s rich history of education and service in the spirit of St. Vincent de Paul. This year’s theme, “Anchored in Hope,” is inspired by the Jubilee of Hope, 2025, as declared by late Pope Francis.
