Niagara University Announces Historic $5 Million Gift to Pre-law Program

Niagara University is proud to announce a historic and transformative gift that will elevate the experience and success of its pre-law students. The landmark contribution of $5 million by the family of alumnus George Wiegers, '58—the largest to an undergraduate pre-law program in the region—will provide exceptional opportunities to aspiring legal professionals through the establishment of an on-campus moot courtroom and pre-law library, an endowed directorship, and expanded resources.

Niagara University’s Men’s ACHA M1 Hockey Team No. 1 in American Collegiate Hockey Association Ranking #6

The Niagara University’s men's club ACHA D1 hockey team took over the top spot in the American Collegiate Hockey Association Ranking #6 for the first time in team history. The undefeated Purple Eagles swept Adrian College in  pair of games on the road at Arrington Ice Arena, Nov. 6 and 7.

Kellanova Visits Niagara University’s Holzschuh College of Business Administration

Ostapenko Interns Create Bulletin Boards to Address Senior Isolation

“You’re Not Alone: Stay Connected,” is the theme of Niagara University’s Rose Bente Lee Ostapenko Center’s fall 2025 bulletin boards program. Organized by Ostapenko intern Jessica Fernandez,  a senior social work major, the program encourages seniors living in Niagara Falls Housing Authority’s Wrobel and Spallino Towers to build meaningful connections with their neighbors and create a sense of community.
