Members of Niagara University’s bowling team volunteered at a Saturday Academy on Dec. 6 at Cataract Elementary School in Niagara Falls, N.Y. The free, family-friendly event is offered by the Niagara Falls City School District to support students and strengthen family connections.
The NU students joined the Niagara Falls students in hands-on learning opportunities that were focused on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics). Niagara’s Levesque Institute for Civic Engagement facilitated the community service project.
