Eight Niagara University Students Score “Super Sunday” Experience

Eight students from Niagara University’s College of Hospitality, Sport, and Tourism Management are headed to New Orleans to see what goes into organizing the National Football League’s showcase event as they work behind the scenes at Super Bowl LIX for a one-of-a-kind experiential learning opportunity.

Meet New Niagara County Peach Queen Amelia Faddoul

Amelia Faddoul was crowned Peach Queen on Sept. 8, 2024, at the close of the 66th annual Niagara County Peach Festival. The 20-year-old Niagara Falls resident is a Niagara University junior. With the win, she earns a $4,000 scholarship from the Kiwanis Club of Lewiston.

Kyle Barker, ’19, Produces First-of-its-Kind Broadcast on ESPN

Kyle Barker, ’19, was in the right place at the right time. The Syracuse, N.Y., native was working as an intern with Niagara University’s athletic communications department when the university received a $1 million gift from 1966 alumnus Bill McKnight to upgrade its broadcast studio. The funds enabled the department to purchase equipment that would enable it to create content that met TV network production standards.
