Niagara University Announces Launch of Institute on Disability Awareness

For the past 15 years, Niagara University’s Disability Awareness Training program has provided first responders, businesses, and government agencies with customized programs that sensitize and educate participants on all aspects of disabilities and the challenges they may encounter as they interact with and respond to incidents, situations, and accidents that involve individuals with disabilities.

Rev. Joseph L. Levesque

President Emeritus, The Rev. Joseph L. Levesque, C.M., passes away

The Rev. Joseph L. Levesque, C.M., former president of Niagara University, passed away peacefully early this afternoon at St. Catherine’s Infirmary in Philadelphia at the age of 85. Father Levesque served as the 25th president of Niagara University, and when he retired from that role in 2013, the university’s Board of Trustees voted to confer on him the title of president emeritus. Immediately following his presidency at Niagara, Father served as the interim president at St. John’s University in Queens, N.Y.
